About the Artist
To Ming Min Wang, the experience of creating art can be traced from her roots of eastern cultures -China onto intersections conjoined from her studies in western art movements, European artists and art forms of the 19th- and 20th centuries. Born in Shanghai China, she has lived in the USA since 1996 and is a citizen living in VA, Washington DC metro area. Wang graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA, concentration in painting, from George Mason University Virginia in 2020.
Ming relishes the opportunity to work at the forefront of contemporary art taking full advantage of her powers of observation and conceptual abilities. Ming artistic practice lies at the intersection of painting, printmaking, and sculpture. She takes the opportunity to explore a blended enhanced and made manifest through closely observing naturally occurring formations in nature -entropy-affected by circumstances of melting and refreezing, rain and repopulation, and the ephemeral energy of light, shade, and weather materials. The luminosity of Wang’s work stems from close observations of unpredictable yet emotional transformations in our environment.

凭籍敏锐的观察力以及思辨能力，在当代艺术的前沿，王明敏咀嚼，品味，并享受在其艺术创作的意境中。她的艺术实践和作品的呈现交融于油画，版画以及雕塑。她的作品的表现形式源自于她不断地探索和观察大自然所形成的结构，被熵所影响的气候；诸如，溶化，冻结，雨水与生物；以及光线，阴影与气候质感的短暂的能量。层次渐变及色泽内透的画作诠释是王明敏对于不可预测的大自然以及人文环境的感官与情感的转变的观察与理解。
